Privacy Policy

Short version: you do not have to give any personal information to vote, and we do not ask for any.

When you vote

• Your IP address reaches the server, is hashed together with a secret salt, and only that hash is stored. The raw address is never written anywhere and never kept in a log.
• Your browser stores only which campus you voted for, and only so the interface can show it. The server is always the source of truth.
• Cloudflare Turnstile is used for bot protection. Cloudflare may set its own cookies for that purpose.

When you sponsor

• Your email address is the only lasting identifier. It has two jobs: telling you when you lose a slot, and matching the credit you have already paid on that campus.
• Payment is completed on the payment provider's own page. Card details never reach us; we keep only the amount, the date and the provider's reference.

Cookies

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The only persistent storage is the browser record holding your vote marker and the bot protection's own cookie.

Third parties

Infrastructure: Google Cloud (Firebase). Bot protection: Cloudflare. Payments: the payment provider. No data is shared with anyone else and no data is ever sold.

Your choices

Because a vote is stored only as a salted hash, we cannot look up, export or delete an individual voter's record — there is nothing tying that hash back to a person. If you have sponsored a campus, write to us and we will remove the contact address held against your payment record.
