Rules

The "Campus Baron" system is a gamified sponsorship slot where you can promote your brand or project on a campus card. The "Baron" and "Throne" language is purely a humorous contest device and carries no official standing whatsoever. Standings reflect user votes, have nothing to do with academic quality, and are not an academic assessment.

Voting

• Voting is free. No account, no sign-in, no password.
• One IP address = one active vote. Your vote always sits on exactly one campus.
• You can move your vote to another campus whenever and as often as you like; it leaves the old campus and joins the new one. There is no daily limit.
• An invisible bot check runs against automated voting. You normally never see anything.
• Standings are not instant: votes reach the table within a minute.

Campus Baron

• Every campus card carries one sponsorship slot. An empty slot opens at its base price.
• A filled slot is taken over by adding at least $1 to the standing amount.
• Credit on return: if you have sponsored this campus before, taking the throne back costs only the difference, not the full amount again.
• Baron of the Day: the largest single payment made for a slot that day is featured separately on the home page and resets at midnight.
• Sponsor content: a title (60 characters max), a description (160 characters max), a link beginning with https, and an optional image.

Content and removal

• Illegal content, abuse, obscenity, shortened or cloaked links, and anything infringing third-party rights are not accepted.
• Sponsor content found objectionable is removed without a refund.
• Universities are not party to these standings; the appearance of a name here does not imply partnership or endorsement.

Liability

Content and links in a sponsorship slot belong entirely to the sponsor; campusclash.lol is not responsible for their accuracy or for the sites they link to. The service is provided "as is".
